But what do Namco think? Well according to a link user Flying Wonkey has provided, Namco are targeting over 2 million sales.

The target is very much achievable seeing as the game is on multiple platforms. and every Tekken game since Tekken 1 has sold over 3 million copies thus far. With the hype surrounding this game, and being it a return of Tag gameplay, one would think the target would be achievable to say the least.

FC,db1 new counter hit animation, +5 on hit +9 on counter (From TZ)

Harada on Twitter confirms that he will announce some of the added characters on E3, an event which will take place between June 5th and 7th 2012. However remember he did say “some” not “all”, so if your favorite had not been announced by the time E3 ends, there’s still some chance for them to be announced later on.

Also Harada appears to have gave us an update on Kunimtsu, by indicating that she was not brought back because she was not popular enough. Of course he could just be “trolling” us for a surprise, let’s just wait and see. Here’s what was said on his Twitter account anyway:

“I’ll announce SOME added character at E3 in L.A. … I’ve lots of characters RT @Zephyrus21 when will you announce a new character?”

“What do you think. Think yourself. Did you love her from TK1 to TTT1? RT@thereallukeadam Why no Kunimitsu in ttt2″

Well who could they be? It does sound like a silly question seeing as they could be totally new to the series, however Shin from the movie Tekken Blood Vengeance, and Tougou from Tekken 6 would technically be considered new, seeing as they have yet to be selectable in a Tekken game thus far. Remember Harada did say that some of the characters exclusive on the console version will have similar styles. So a Tougou with a Lars like move set, wouldn’t sound far fetched, another possibility would be that “Lili character” Harada apparently used as an example in the interview.

Another year, another E3. Tekken Tag 2 is coming to consoles on September. Did you really think Namco would leave the ultimate chance to promote their next precious installment in the Tekken series? Of course not! Tekken Tag 2 has been confirmed a place at E3. So yea get hyped. No word what exactly is going to be announced or even showcased there, but there is a strong possibility that we could be seeing the console characters in the event. ss+4 the damage appears to have increased from 19 to 21.

u/f+4, this went from -13 to -14 it seems. Big deal if you use hopkicks, otherwise not so much. Personally never felt Wang’s hopkick was his bread and butter (range/damage weren’t too great).

u+4, this went from 14 frames to 15 frames. Kinda pointless to use it now, if you ever did before (fast zero range launcher).

uf+3,1 is now easier to punish
